Sunburst

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its yellow stems grow in bunches of 8 and are very thin and straight, and the tiny, brilliant red leaves are thin with tattered edges. 11 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with lime petals and a violet central disk. The flower head is made up of 11 petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like cheap aftershave, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
