Emerald

This slate moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainforests, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
