Blueberry Tree

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant fruit tree grows up to 54 feet (16.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 44 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in hard, silky, dark brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is black.

The excessive amount of branches are short stubs and are covered with thick bunches of miniature, stiff, pointed leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are amber on the edges and green at the center.

In early spring, it produces a thick sheet of medium-sized, crimson blossoms with asymmetrical petals. They are very delicate and have a powerful scent that smells like baby powder.

In late summer it produces small, wide fruit. The fuzzy aquamarine skin is thin and edible when cooked; it is savoury, and the crunchy beige flesh is sour and very juicy. The orange seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for making paper
Before maturity, it can grow 0 per day.
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly salty.
