Indigo Bine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 38 feet (11.6 meters).

It takes 2 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.

The needle-like, rough leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either aquamarine or indigo, with green splotches, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of tiny light green flowers.


It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
