Magenta Grass

This short, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in large clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, magenta flower.

During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
