Sunburst

This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its yellow stems grow in bunches of 4 and are thin and straight, and the miniature, orange leaves are broad, flat with toothed edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of white. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 46 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like pot-purri, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is a self-pollinator and is ignored by most insect species.
