Carmelactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This giant cactus grows up to 160 feet (48.8 meters) tall. The pleated stem is red, and is covered in brittle olive spines. The tear-shaped body is grey and emerald, and is covered in lots of rigid white spines.

It is slow growing, taking 40 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid purple petals and a brown central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. It has a powerful scent that smells like citrus.

The cactus's skin is thin, the caramel flesh is leathery, and the gold sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
