Amberbell
Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)This big shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for around 45 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous very thick, straight stems covered in waxy, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is gray.
The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of large, slender, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either amber or slate, with pink dots, flimsy and rough.
In late summer it produces a handful of small, pink flowers with stiff, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have an intense scent that smells like leather.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
