Blueberry Tree

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 33 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in thin, silky, brown-green bark, and inside, the flexible wood is yellow-brown.

The small bunches of branches are very short, thin and wispy and are covered with sparse amounts of small, spear shaped leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are vivid blue on the edges and pink at the center.

In early spring, it produces several tiny, crimson blossoms with needle-like petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like a woman.

In early winter it produces , spherical fruit. The soft magenta skin is tough and inedible, and the very soft turquoise flesh is salty and sour and juicy. The olive seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
