Silvergrass

This big, silver grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thin clumps that are robust and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange flower.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
