Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In damp forests.
It is large, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly strong; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
