Orange Bine

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 497 feet (151.5 meters).

It takes 10 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The 2 pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in gold, pale purple and silver varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many clusters of average vivid orange flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of very large berries.
