Crimson Puffgrass

This modest-sized, gray grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, crimson puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
