Crimsonfern

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In heathlands.
It is enormous, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
