Cyanium
Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small caudiciform grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stem is cyan, and is dotted with small brown spines. The straight, gold trunk can grow to as much as 1 foot (30.5 cm) in diameter at the top. Its brown branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the top the stem.
The large amounts of smooth-edged, wide leaves are green and copper. They are flimsy, but take little effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with drab green petals and a hazel central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has a faint scent that smells like cherry.
The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the cyan flesh is rough, and the indigo sap is thin.
