Sunset Orange

This huge flower grows up to 8.0 feet (2.4 meters) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the huge, lime green leaves are wide with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 91 cm (35.8 inches) wide, with petals that are generally light red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They fall easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like leather, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
