Emerald

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In heathlands, and On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
