Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big fruit tree grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 49 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, angular trunk covered in cracked, black bark, and inside, the very hard wood is copper-coloured.

The sparse patches of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with handfuls of large, slender, pointed leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in beige and slate varieties.

In early spring, it produces large amounts of giant, black blossoms with triangular shaped petals. They are hardy and have a mildly strong scent that smells like chocolate.

In early summer it produces , cuboid fruit. The crispy gold skin is delicate and edible when roasted; it is sweet, and the crunchy white flesh is sweet and powdery. The beige seeds are tiny and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
Several parts of the caudiciform have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
