Bog Emerald Moss

This gray moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs.
It is giant, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very tough; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
