Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In marshes, and In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
