Flame Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
