Ambervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 189 feet (57.6 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 10 months for the purple stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The finger-like, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are solid copper with cream edges, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thick bunches of large amber flowers.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
