Blood Red Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 70 feet (21.3 meters) tall. The thick stem is green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible lime spines. The spherical body is blood red or dark grey, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible lime spines.

It is quick growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are either sky blue or white, with a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of raised narrow petals. It has a faint scent that smells like paint.

The cactus's skin is thin, the pink flesh is smooth, and the white sap is thin.
