Emerald Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
