Indigo Fingerleaf

This short caudiciform grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The narrow stem is moss green, and is covered in lots of fine, green, hair-like spines. It has a straight, narrow, gold trunk atop a slender ball of rough, exposed roots. The branches are slender and moss green and trail down to the ground.

The irregular-edged, finger-like leaves are either cyan or lime, with indigo edges. They are delicate, and detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are amber on the underside and pink on the top grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 55 raised, round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the cream flesh is smooth, and the red sap is thin.
