Blue Puff Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This short, faded purple grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, sky blue puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Several parts of the tree have medicinal properties.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
