Emerald Clump Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees, In bogs, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
