Creamfern

This light green and cream moss is commonly found blanketing small areas On trees.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very frail; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
