Bronzeberry

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 22 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of narrow, slanted stems covered in thick, silky, black bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with large amounts of giant, perforated, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are either bronze, or purple with violet dots, robust and leathery.

In mid-spring it produces thousands of medium-sized, hazel flowers with crescent-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like rotten meat.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
