Caramel

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This enormous leaf succulent grows up to 126 feet (38.4 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is green, and is covered in thousands of rigid caramel spines. The irregular-edged, spear shaped leaves are a shade of gray-green that gradient shifts to slate at the top. Small bunches of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are tough, and detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 35 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of gold and blood red, with an azure central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is largely flat with 45 widely spaced narrow petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is waxy, and the peach sap is thin.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
