Moss type: Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In bogs, In heathlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very resistant.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
