Copper

This short leaf succulent grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The very thin stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in sharp spines. The tattered-edged, very thin leaves are found in copper and slate varieties. Copious amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are flexible, and take some effort to detach.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with peach petals that gradient shift to deep blue on the outer edge. The central disk is black grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of several raised, narrow petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the dark brown flesh is soft, and the bold red sap is thin.
