Orange Heather Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores.

It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
