Turquoise Spikegrass

This average-sized, lime green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.
