Copperactus

This short cactus grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 6 very narrow, elongated stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in many flexible indigo spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are ashy yellow on the underside and white on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of many widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like fermented fruit.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the slate flesh is smooth, and the indigo sap is thin.
