Copperbell

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for around 25 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, twisting stems covered in silky, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, slender, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are copper and green, light and soft.

In mid-spring it produces a thick sheet of small, dark grey flowers with asymmetrical petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a faint scent that smells like rainy days.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
