Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
