Aquamarine

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is emerald, and is covered in brittle olive spines. The pointed leaves are found in red and cyan varieties. Small bunches of them grow on flat, yellow branches that are very long and slender. The leaves are delicate, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of aquamarine, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like pepper.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the light brown flesh is smooth, and the cyan sap is thin.
