Blueleaf Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 531 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, ridged, light gray bark, and inside, the dense wood is pine-coloured.
The small bunches of branches are short stubs and are covered with small bunches of waxy, miniature, sickle shaped leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are generally pale blue.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, lime, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It can survive a very long time without water.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
