Copper Blue

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is gray, and is covered in lots of rigid hazel spines.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid blue petals decorated with copper lines and a white central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 25 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has a powerful scent that smells like cheap aftershave.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the yellow flesh is smooth, and the amber sap is thin.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
