Caramel

This short leaf succulent grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is moss green, and is covered in hundreds of flexible grey spines. The toothed-edged, circular leaves are caramel at the bottom and grey with faded purple lines at the top. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in a random bunch. The leaves are delicate, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid faded purple petals and a beige central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like new carpet.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the black flesh is waxy, and the lilac sap is thin.
