Ember Moss

This deep orange moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
