Bronzeleaf

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 606 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a stocky, wavy trunk covered in knobbly, gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is white.

The abundance of branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with thick bunches of fuzzy, huge, sickle shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid bronze with caramel splotches.

In late summer it forms small, crimson, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It is suitable for making strong rope
