Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly tough; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
