Copper

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 101 feet (30.8 meters) tall. The pleated stem is emerald or blood red, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible copper spines. The stocky leaves are brown and peach. Small amounts of them grow on bulbous, emerald branches that are short stubs. The leaves are delicate, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with light yellow petals and an orange central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 17 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the crimson flesh is leathery, and the light yellow sap is thin.
