Bloodfire Rose
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has many narrow, twisting stems covered in thin, waxy, light gray bark, and the wood inside is brown.
The branches are very short and thick with thousands of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of tiny, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in peach and amber varieties, flimsy and fuzzy.
In mid-summer it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, blood red flowers with slender, pointed petals. They are hardy and have a powerful scent that smells like freshly baked bread.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
