Azureflare

This giant flower grows up to 9.0 feet (2.7 meters) tall. Its moss green stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thin and straight, and the tiny, orange-yellow leaves are thin with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 43 cm (16.9 inches) wide, with azure petals that gradient shift to cyan on the outer edge. The central disk is white. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of many raised, narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like apple, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
