White Ghost Moss

This white moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
