Emerald

This florescent green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly light; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
