Lilacvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This colossal bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,029 feet (923.2 meters) and growing as high as 191 feet (58.2 meters).

It takes 24 years for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2.3 feet (69 cm) and are tough and woody.

The broad, flat, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2.0 feet (61 cm) in length. They are solid lilac with green edges, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of large hazel flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.

Several parts of the bine have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
